On behalf of Dudley Council Mallatite were selected to manufacture signage for their recycling operation depot. A wide variety of signage has been installed in strategic locations to inform and advise employees, visitors and the public of potential risks and essential safety instructions within the depot. The recycling depot is used daily by refuse collection vehicles carrying out their recycling services for the borough. With this in mind, where large vehicles and pedestrians meet, it is of paramount importance for clear and visible signage to be erected and assist in the protection of all those onsite. Mallatite’s traffic sign and commercial signage specialist in conjunction with Dudley Council officials inspected the site to assess and highlight at risk areas and identify locations where informatory guidance and instructional signs are deployed to aide in the prevention of potential risks and harm.
We spoke to Greg Martin the Assistant Operations Manager at Dudley Council who said "We needed to replace old faded and outdated signage at our Recycling Depot. Steve Garrett from Mallatite provided a prompt and friendly service. He/They listened to our needs and wants and discussed designs and materials. After a short wait, proofs were provided for sign off and an installation date agreed. The install was completed in a couple of days without any fuss or issues, leaving our depot looking like new again. A great customer experience from start to finish".
